Regarding the Closing of the Vanguard Art Gallery on June 1
MVCAF has been blessed to have had such a wonderful venue at the Stoneridge Towne Centre since May 2014. We have always been on a month to month arrangement and were vulnerable as such. Since our original opening at the Moreno Valley Mall, MVCAF has consistently brought artwork of serious merit and quality along with a vast variety of wonderful arts programming.
The closing in June is not the end. MVCAF is evolving into a more powerful advocate for the arts on a much broader scale. A new gallery is in the works, both "brick & mortar" as well as virtual online. MVCAF will be engaging in video blogs and podcast of artists of all genre and then promoting them worldwide as a more effective means of introducing their talents to a much larger marketplace.
We quoted Alexander Graham Bell; "When a door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that opened for us." MVCAF sees this as a positive opportunity for real growth and strengthening our ability to be a formidable advocate for the arts.
MVCAF encourages any artist interested in having their art represented on our upcoming e-commerce site and a possible video interview to contact us at rarcher@mvcaf.org.

Vanguard Art Gallery Designated LGBT Safe Space
The Vanguard Art Gallery became the City of Moreno Valley's very first LGBT Safe Space on November 28th, 2017. MVCAF has endeavored to assure that our art gallery and all events are completely inclusive. It is imperative that all people are welcome. As a Safe Space, MVCAF provides a visible presence to shape a culture that is accepting of all people, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, or any other difference. We are extremely proud of our commitment towards inclusion and using the arts as a universal language to facilitate a dialogue of awareness and understanding.
