MVCAF Growth Fund: Investing in the future of the arts locally
As a tax-exempt, non-profit, public charity, our life's blood is in the form of donations, of all sizes, from contributors who truly believe our endeavors to raise the quality of life in Moreno Valley through the arts is worthy. We have already accomplished so much with very little. Part of that is because of our dedicated volunteers; artists, students, parents, and every-day people who all love the arts. Help has come in the form of cash, checks, credit/debit cards, as well as in-kind donations. The MVCAF is immensely grateful for everything everyone does to help support our work.
The MVCAF has some great opportunities to have a profound impact on the community. Our efforts can continue to gain momentum as long as we can count on people like yourself to make a generous investment in the future of the arts. Make a difference and support the arts through your contribution to Moreno Valley Cultural Arts Foundation.
The MVCAF is seeking donations to help us reach our targeted goal of $4000 for our Infrastructure Improvement Fund. The funding will allow MVCAF to make significant physical and technical changes to our Vanguard Art Gallery. These improvements will make much better use of our floor space, increase the display area of local artwork, accommodate more people, enhance our pedestrian visibility, and make it possible to offer more arts programming to the community-at-large.
The technical improvements will permit us to launch an e-commerce site that will be critically important to gain needed exposure for our local artists to a world-wide marketplace. The new web site, combined with our new marketing efforts will achieve a more effective outreach and help drive more traffic to our gallery.
Funds will be used for the following: restaurant-style folding tables, glass display cases, cash counter, signage, grid-wall displays, window display, and video screen cart. Technology purchases will include e-commerce application, point-of-purchase system, SLR camera, and computer.
MVCAF supports the arts; visual, performing and literary. MVCAF also has an active public service component including efforts to assist local homeless families, active serving military personnel, the disabled, animal shelters, and most recently becoming the City of Moreno Valley’s first LGBT Safe Space.
Go to our web page, http://mvcaf.org/investing-in-mvcaf.html, fill out the form, submit and then click the donate button that will take you to our secure PayPal site. Your support will help make the difference in creating a vibrant arts environment within the City of Moreno Valley.
